Evansville Bosse sophomore Jaquan Lyle closed the July evaluation period last month running with Spiece at the Gym Rats Basketball Association National Championship in Ft. Wayne. Lyle played with a Spiece 15-and-under team on Friday and jumped up to the 17-and-under division for Saturday and Sunday. The 6-foot-4, 187-pound guard is the No. 11 prospect nationally in the 2014 class according to ESPN.com.

Inside the Hall was in attendance at the GRBA National Championships and we’ve compiled over two minutes of Lyle video which is available in the embedded media player below. (Note: You can expand the video to full screen by using the arrows in the bottom right hand corner of the player.)

Also, I’m going to change the topic a second and say that Jack Tradeau is a degenerate that needs to wake up and realize being a 1980s qb on a floundering Colts team is not as impressive as he hopes. Just because the team has raised to the elite franchise level under Peyton Manning does not entitle Jack Tradeau to think he’s a elite alumni. Instead he is a sad man who uses his pseudo-fame to get out of arrests for supplying an underage party boos. And he expects an apology for Kevin Wilson? He should be counting his blessings that somehow he is still hireable after and that people still somehow associate his last name with sports credibility. My fanatsy three guard backcourt is Yogi, Blackmon and Lyle since Harris was two and done and helped us drop a banner in `13. Lyle could be the missing link for dropping back-to backs. Lyle is a much better playing with the 17’s than 15’s and 16’s because he’s bored with that competition, plus he plays outside at his natural spot. Having two point guards at 5’11” and 6’5″ and a the purest 2 guard shooter in the nation would be the Divine Trinity of backcourts. Enough to drop one in `14 too.

What a jackhole. You nailed it. Trudeau acts like he’s got a fist full of Super Bowl rings. I like the fire and pride coming from Coach Wilson.

Trudeau publically melted down and is a Jacktard. The fool didn’t think how it would affect his kid going to IU by publically disgracing himself on the air. Jactard’s ego is writing checks he can’t cover and he’ll be humilated by IU fans in public. Jacktard jumped-the-shark in his petty radio career and shouted to the world about his deep insecurity and which proceeds his ego. I bet he won’t show up for any IU football games because he’d be humilated and probably break down and cry. Jacktard knows he (*&^%# up.

You think you’re going to leave the best defender of the bunch, Ron Patterson, on the bench?  I get the feeling he’s probably not the kind to sit back and let that happen.

  • shime

I agree how do you keep Patterson out of the conversation. What they did to his rankings is an absoloute joke. Wait and see people he is for real.

  • Jmfriedman

What a joke they made of themselves on 1260.  Good work Coach Wilson, it is about time the IU football program starts to stand up with a backbone.  If coach can translate that attitude to the field, then look out!  Motivation can be a HUGE part of the game at the college level especially.  It can make a team perform at a much higher level and I am interested to see how Coach Wilson rubs off on the players. Motivation + Determination + Preparation = wins…. My all time sports fantasy is IU in a Rose Bowl game…..
