With Indiana up 10 late in the contest, here’s typical wheel action from the Hoosiers down on the baseline. Durham fakes the screen from Jackson-Davis on the right side and heads left instead as Phinisee has the ball up top:

Durham goes left and takes the screen from Hunter on the left side with Marcus Carr chasing. Phinisee moves left:

Phinisee makes the pass to Durham. With Carr taking the same route as Durham behind him, Durham has space:

That means Eric Curry has to come off Durham to stop the ball as Carr continues to trail. So Durham finds Hunter on the block:

Hunter catches as Curry looks to recover:

Hunter takes it around to the other side to protect the ball and score for two:

We often see Durham getting the ball off this sort of action late in contests to try and get something going to the paint. But the fact he had Hunter to dump it off to was a new wrinkle.
