About a minute of game action later, here’s Indiana cooking up something with the wheel action again. This time, it’s Franklin making the moves. He fakes left to Jackson-Davis:
And comes back right Hunter’s way:
Phinisee moves to Franklin curling around the screen from Hunter:
Just as Carr took a wide angle around the screen in the last play, so too does Williams here on Franklin as Phinisee makes the pass. So Johnson is now hedging off Hunter to stop the ball. Hunter sets up in the dunker’s spot:
Franklin decides to come more into the paint than Durham on the last play, drawing a ton of attention in the paint. With Carr coming to the ball, Durham is wide open in the left corner for a 3-pointer. But Franklin opts for the pocket pass to Hunter:
He catches and moves to the basket as the defense has ground to make up:
He dunks it home for two points:
Another nice design here to get Indiana’s guards drawing defensive attention and leaving Hunter with space to score.
