2017 Hoosier Hysteria streaming details

  • 10/16/2017 8:38 am in

Hoosier Hysteria, the annual tip-off to the Indiana basketball season, takes place this Saturday in Bloomington as Simon Skjodt Assembly Hall doors will open at 5:30 p.m. ET with the event beginning at 7 p.m. ET.

If you’re unable to make it to Simon Skjodt Assembly Hall, the Big Ten Network will be providing coverage via its streaming service, BTN Plus.

BTN Plus already has a page set up for Hysteria, which also has links to sign up for service in order to watch the event. The broadcast will begin at 7 p.m. ET and will be student produced.

Fans can access the stream via a BTN Plus subscription, which is offered in two packages: school-specific or conference. The school-specific pass is $9.95 monthly or $79.95 annually and the conference pass is $14.95 monthly or $119.95 annually.

Signing up for a monthly school-specific pass for Indiana will also give access to Indiana’s two exhibition games and the regular season opener against Indiana State. All three of those contests will only be shown live on BTN Plus.

A subscription to BTN Plus is not included with a subscription to Big Ten Network.

Indiana Basketball BTN Plus schedule

Saturday, October 21, Hoosier Hysteria, 7 p.m. ET

Alex, thank you for the update.. Would you know if any of these programs would be aired on BTN network at a later date/time?

  • Oldfan

I think they have shown some of these games the next day on BTN in the past.

  • That is usually the case for the exhibition games and the regular season games, but not for Hysteria.

    Thank you Alex!

I’m gonna miss these games because of work .. So recording the re-telecast would be the best way to go for me .. Glad to know that it is an option 🙂

Is there a way to re-watch Hysteria?

  • Meadows007

Most of the events of Hoosiers Hysteria are usually uploaded to the official IUBB YouTube page within a few days.

The introductions and the dunk contest clips, at least. And then I think the rule might be no more than 2 minute highlights of the scrimmage.

It’s lame that you have to subscribe to watch the game online through the BTN. I’m already paying a boatload for cable just to have the channel so I can watch games during the season.

What a scam!!!! BTN and the college presidents make billions…. The B1G expanded to MD and Rut for TV market revenue….. That was probably 95% of the rational…. LOL!!!

BTN is showing Marian vs Indiana (10-28-17) televised 10-31-17 @ 8:00 am. I am in Phoenix so it may be an early morning.

  • BTN Plus has it on demand if you are subscribed, I believe.

Thanks Lance, I will set my DVR to record it B-)
