Center Grove and Team Teague forward Trayce Jackson-Davis is one of Indiana’s top priorities in the class of 2019.

Jackson-Davis already holds a scholarship offers from the Hoosier staff and the four-star prospect was tracked closely in July.

We’ve compiled just under a minute of video from his play at the adidas Gauntlet Finale, which is available below:

I really wish I could go and watch these guys actually play. Highlight videos just don’t tell the tale. I know 2019 is a ways off, but I just don’t see it yet.

Video didn’t convey much so I’m just going to rely on his being 6’9″, from the Indianapolis area, a 4-star recruit, and featured here on ITH as good signs. Agree though, it would be nice to watch some of these guys firsthand.

Just looked up his high school schedule and they play Aaron Henry at Ben Davis.

  • E Foy McNaughton

I was impressed with how he relocated after passing the basketball to a teammate. His movement resulted in him being wide open for a lay-up.
Who knows how good he is from a minute of video though really.
I do trust that Archie will go get Indiana kids and develop them.

  • Tim Priller Is My Spirit Anima

Trayce’s biological dad is Dale Davis, and he has some huge feet! He could still have a couple more inches to grow. I’ve seen him play a couple of times, he needs to be more aggressive but there is tons of potential.

I’m with you on all the good signs part, and I’ll trust Archie and staff for recruiting, but it’s hard to form a real opinion on just these highlight videos. And “Tim Priller Is My Spirit Anima” is correct in that it looks like Tryce needs to be more aggressive.

Man, “TPIMSA”, you need to shorten your name. lol

That would be a nice one to watch, but I think Aaron is going somewhere else. No evidence, just seems like there is a cooling off. Just an opinion.

If he’s as mean as his dad sign him up now!
Must not be, though, since you say he needs to be more aggressive.
