Is there any buzz on Priller? Like he’ll contribute more than we thought, he’ll only play if we’re injury bit, etc.? Not heard much if anything.

I was trying to pick him out there in the drills. He still looks to struggle with change of direction but I did think he looked quicker than before. Looked to me like he still need to focus on keeping his butt low/bending at the knees instead of waist. Appeared to look far less “soft” than he did last year, too.
He doesn’t have to be a track star to contribute but he has to have a strong enough base to hold his ground and he has to be able to move his feet.

He’ll only play if we’re down to 5 players. Maybe.

Anyone see the video of Yogi dunking. Don’t even start the season. Just stop everything there.

    A few observations.

+ Hartman continues to get bigger.

+ Troy looks almost serene. (This goes one of two ways. He’s either in Will Sheehey mode or he’s not going 100%. I truly don’t think he appears to be dogging it, so look out.)

+ Thomas Bryant looks really young!
+Blackmon looks to have been putting in a lot of time on his arms while his leg was recuperating.
+Zeisloft has some arms now. Don’t know if that matters, as he usually doesn’t get inside the three-point line, but maybe some strength will help his defense.

+ Robert Johnson looks to be leading the pack by several steps in a lot of the running drills.
+ Watching OG do the hip-pivot drill gets me excited for his potential to be a lockdown defender. His rotation looks like that of a cornerback. He also looked to be super-quick when they were doing that hop back and forth over the center court line. I still don’t know how much he contributes this season but he certainly has the athletic ability to become a handful.

OG’s in my class sitting a row away right now, I’ll ask him for you 😛 But I definitely agree he can be a really good defender for us in the future

They can’t all be Bane for Halloween.

Priller looked like he was improving his agility.

    Yogi is a monster.

Good to see JBJ able to put a lot of pressure on his knees after surgery in the off-season.

I think Troy looks relaxed because of his confidence in his own abilities. My take (based on opinion only) is that he has really put in a lot of work in the offseason, learned a lot, and all his new, and improved, skills are meshing in a way that is making him really confident. He is feeling it!

I am really excited about OG. I have a feeling that the biggest complaint we’ll hear about OG this year is why isn’t he playing more… LOL

  • Joe Bolander

He appeared to be good ballast for the guy in the green mask that was carrying him.

    Including walk-ons.

Saw it. Never knew he could actually dunk.

I felt like he could. He seemed to have the explosiveness. Was just waiting for it to happen in a game.

And that dude was impressive because he was trucking along like he was carrying Daniel Moore.
