I’m excited for this week! We have a huge opportunity with these road games. The road hurdle is the last one to jump over on the way back to national relevance. This is the week to prove that this team is for real. The doubters feel like they are right about this team because we played all of our tough games on the front end of the schedule. After this week, I feel like we should win out.
Alex, don’t you think every “what to expect” for road games, should include…Two or three mind-numbing calls that will have you breathing fire as you watch the game?…
I know I expect it every game. Lets go hoosiers!

I for one am getting tired of watching IU come “close” on the road and in big B1G games because they can’t hit FT’s late, can’t get big defensive rebounds, and can’t stop dribble penetration.

It’s the big three for “keys to losing big games”!!!

Tom Crean is very disappointed with the IU start and starting lineup. Don’t be surprise if Crean will start 3-4 Freshman in the upcoming class next year. He is looking for stone cold killers when it comes to winning which this team does not have(excluding maybe a couple of them), maybe.

Its because IU is just an average team.  Most teams can win at home but only the elite teams can win on the road.  0 road wins last year only 1 this year.  To slow of progress.  We are just not physically and mentally tough to play at a high level every game.  Average players equal average outcomes.

I completely agree 100%.  Moral victories no longer exist in this program.  There were only three players, in my mind, that really wanted to win this game.  Hulls, Zeller, and Abell played very well tonight.  Watford played well in the second half, but he came out terrible.  He is a junior now.  He shouldn’t have to sit 13 minutes in the first half to get pumped up.  I hope to see the lineup changed on Saturday.  I’m thinking Hulls, Abell, Watford, Elston, and Zeller.  I would be surprised to see Abell start, but the kid is a fighter.

I am upset over the road losses as anyone.  I have to step  back and look how much this team has improved.  Its hard to watch some of the F/T at the end of the game and I do question some of Coach Creams substatioun, but I will take a step back and say good game and go home and practice harder.  Thank you Hoosiers

I definitely think Elston has worked himself into a start or more PT!

I’m not sure what was up with Sheehey tonight?  That’s by far the worst I’ve seen him play since he’s been at IU!

Hey guys we can’t be happy with moral victories anymore. This years team has proven it can play with the big boys and even beat them on occasion. I’m not gonna get too concerned with losing to another ranked team on the road tho. This is the Big Ten conference after all…it’s not like they were playing against some Division 3 school tonight….Michigan isn’t a cupcake and Purdue won’t be one either on Saturday…We have a good team but some of our best players are still freshmen and sophomores…meaning this is still a young team with a few upperclassmen to lean on….overall I’m pretty excited that we are 17-6 this year……not too bad when you take the last three years into account…..
