I use to coach some in the off season with younger kids and teens through a Church basketball program for kids who had very little structure in their lifes. It was very rewarding seeing those little guys get a chance to play school ball later in life and even College ball but, for me, the most important thing was getting to teach some of life’s lessons to kids who had nothing. I believe that program made me a better coach and person. Thank you for your comments they are always great.

what ever happened to working hard to be good at something, now a days, coaches and friends are exploting the highschool, stage, and the AAU stages to promote their friends. And  if they can  win  with their friends, people will never see the real talant. It dosen’t matter how good you are,or how hard you work . What matters is who is incharge of the stages.Where is  the  true merit system Why do we let them sometimes lie  and distroy hard warking kids.,by keeping them off of the stages. this is  Indiana basketball….This group of kids are good , but even they know who is more deserving, ask them.
