With his Eric Gordon All-Star team out of action for the weekend, class of 2014 guard Jaquan Lyle teamed up with the Derrick Rose Best Choice All-Stars for the 2011 Indiana State AAU tournament.

The 6-foot-4, 187-pound Evansville Bosse freshman is drawing interest from schools all over the country, including Indiana. He currently holds offers from the Hoosiers, Purdue, Illinois and Xavier.

Inside the Hall caught up with Lyle for a video Q & A on Saturday at North Central:

Regardless of where he ends up, I’m incredibly excited to hear a kid of Jaquan’s age accept criticism about his attitude (be it true or not) and not immediately dismiss it when he doesn’t necessarily agree.  The fact that when asked what aspect of his game he wants to improve on personally he first countered with his attitude shows some maturity I wasn’t sure was there prior to watching this clip.  I’m glad this is being addressed now rather than after he shows up on a college campus three years from now as a 5 star recruit and a McDonalds All American.

Jaquan is so much bigger and stronger than kids his age…I think he needs to play up a leval in AAU….It has helped Darryl Baker out alot by playing against older kids
