AAU Preview: Run ‘N Slam Classic in Ft. Wayne

The spring AAU circuit continues in Indiana this weekend with the Bill Hensley Memorial Run ‘N Slam All-Star Classic in Ft. Wayne.

Spiece’s premier event of the spring begins on Friday evening and runs through Sunday at venues throughout the city. Admission is $5 on Friday, $20 on Saturday and $5 on Sunday.

Here is a look at some of the players to keep an eye on (All times listed are Eastern Standard Time and are pool play games):

Indiana Elite Team Indiana (17-and-under)
Who: Hanner Perea, Jeremy Hollowell (injured), Ron Patterson and Yogi Ferrell

    This isn’t good…. Gary Harris is playing For Dorrian’s Pride which is a team out of Saginaw MI. This team has been a pipeline for MSU for years Ex. Draymond Green ect…..

    It will be in various gyms in Bloomington. Indiana Elite will probably play primarily in Assembly Hall and Cook Hall. There should be a schedule available around this time next week. I’ve kept my weekend free for this one. Just hope Hollowell is back in action and we could see the whole 2012 class together for the first time.

  • Not sure Cook Hall will be used this year. I think there were some reports it may not be.
