With Notre Dame down nine and time running out, the Irish run a dribble handoff on the left wing and then a screen up top for Wesley to get downhill. But with Jackson-Davis switching onto him and Thompson fortuitously in Wesley’s driving lane on the left low block, Wesley has IU’s best two interior defenders to contend with and his shot doesn’t fall.
Wesley finished just 5-of-16 from the floor and Indiana really loaded up on him defensively down the stretch.
