Film Session: Purdue
As Hunter brings the ball down the court, Race Thompson seals off Williams in the paint:
Hunter makes the pass to Jahaad Proctor on the right wing and moves to the paint. Williams calls for Eastern to move out of the left corner:
Proctor drives left, and with Hunter and Eastern now out of his way, Williams has Thompson sealed and gets the pass:
Eastern heads into the paint and this time around actually goes high up and over Thompson:
The shot misses, but he’s able to grab his own rebound:
Thompson gets flipped around and is facing the basket as Williams gathers:
This allows Williams to go up again relatively unopposed for the score:
While Williams stayed low on Indiana the first three plays, here he showed he can sky over the defense as well.
