With the ball up top, Landis streaks out to the left wing with Williams trailing:
Williams chooses a route we saw recently from James Blackmon Jr., as he goes between Thomas Bryant and the screener, a longer route that slows him down:
Landis gets the shot off with plenty of space:
It ends up as an air ball and Ferrell tracks down the ball. As I wrote in TMA, IPFW missed a number of open shots like this that could have made the game closer:
On the other end, Ferrell lobs it up to Williams:
He can’t throw it down and it’s a turnover:
Not the best sequence here for the IU junior.
