Landis makes a move on Williams near the left block and he’s facing the wrong way:
Williams trails Landis as the first screen comes, slowing him down even more:
As Williams fights around another body, Landis receives the ball. At this point, Max Bielfeldt begins to enter the equation. Should the two make a quick switch? They don’t:
Instead Williams continues to trail Landis and Bielfeldt never really full commits to him:
He fouls him instead for an and-1 opportunity. Notice due to the lack of communication between Williams and Bielfeldt that Bret Calhoun was also left unmarked and a dump pass was an option:
Williams was frustrated after the play and seemed to indicate he was looking for some help from a teammate. But it never came:
