Thank you, Yogi!!! You have been a great player and I look forward to seeing how far you can take this group! Good luck this year and in the future.

  • Very sad to think that this Sunday’s game will be Yogi’s last in Assembly Hall. Very excited about where he can lead this team in the post-season. Very, very mixed emotions. But first, take care of Maryland and make your last game in the Hall a great one, Yogi–you deserve it.

That video made me really think about, for the first time, that I’m not going to get to watch Yogi in AH anymore. I also got something stuck in my eye somehow…

Yogi truly will go down as one of the greatest IU players of all time. Isn’t it amazing that some still criticize Yogi, and downgrade his accomplishments?

Yogi, I hope you can extend this season to end on the most positive note possible. I also hope that you find a role in the NBA somewhere … then explode on that scene to show the world how amazing you really are. You gave a lot to IU, and I appreciate it.

Really going to be a rollercoaster of emotions on Sunday knowing it’s both Yogi’s last game at the Hall and my last game watching as a student. Yogi’s been as rock solid of a four year player as you get in college hoops and there’s no telling where we’d be without him the last few years with all the roster turnover and off the court issues. One and done five star recruits are what gets the media’s attention, but give me Yogi for four years over anyone in the country. Just hoping he gets the finish to the season he deserves.

Yogi had the complete IUBB legend status but was missing in my opinion a couple of things. Buzzer beater in big game, check(ok it was 30sec.). Taking team on his back to a Big Ten title, check. Forget the BTT, he will carry the whole team in NCAA, box to be checked off. Hoosier Legend he earned it.
