Holy cow!!! Trevon and Cliff are 1 and 1a on my wishlist right now. Looks like he runs the floor extremely well for a guy his size. He’ll be a monster at the college level, especially considering how scary he’ll be after getting into a collegiate weight room!!!
Good gravy, the phrase “man amongst boys” has never rung truer. So, this kid is pretty set on Sparty or what? I feel very sorry for those pizza-faced kids trying to contain him down low ha.
Still too many unanswered questions for me to be sure he belongs at IU. Can he dunk from behind the free throw line? Can he hit a left handed three pointer? Can he name all the presidents in order? Question, questions, questions…..
He doesn’t have the build (yet?), but his moves remind me of George McGinnis.
Yes, yes, and no…
He mixed up Andrew Jackson and Martin Van Buren
I get the impression that he isn’t really playing that hard in this video. I’m not calling him out for laziness, I just think he’s so physically dominant to these other guys that there’s no need. It looks like a bunch of 6th graders were out in the driveway and then the older brother came out and jumped in the game with them.
Someone tell Yogi he might have to give up #11! LOL. CTC needs to turn it on and get this kid to Bloomington. Cliff @ PF, Trey @ SF and senior Cody @ C. Dare to dream.
I’ve been saying this awhile… He’s priority no. 1. I don’t see what could possibly put Okafor or Johnson ahead of him in 2014 at the center position. They can’t come near matching his athleticism. If only we can pry him away from Sparty…
That doesn’t seem fair..
I’m pretty sure you wouldn’t be disappointed if he committed to IU. I would not have any questions, just happiness.
Dang, that’s the same one that cost me my IU scholarship. Well, that plus the fact that I did not dominate the low post as though I were playing with small children….
Tom Izzo coaching this kid would make me more than a little bit nervous. According to pretty much anybody involved in the recruiting world, MSU has the clear lead but we know Tom Crean never stops working and until he commits to Sparty, I am going to keep on believing we have a chance to land him.
Bottom line, he is an impact player in the Big Ten the moment he steps on campus.
With no one guarding him (or capable of it in this group)..the kid is a dunk machine. I don’t think anybody thought Izzo and the other elite coaches are sitting on their hands. Lot of good things at MSU to look forward too…but as long as there’s a chance he might come to IU..I’m sure Crean will maximize his opportunities. I thought Alexander had a pretty tight friendship with Trey? Maybe that will help when its commit time.
Yes. Go get this person and make him a Hoosier. Right now.
For me, he’s priority number one right now. With the scholarship crunch for 2013, I’d love to bring this guy in along with Trey and JB Jr. Man what a class that would be, especially with Trevon if he decides to come here too. That would be special, and would definitely rival anything UK’s put together as of late in terms of strictly the recruiting class. Then add those guys in with the 2012 and 2013 classes. That’s going to be a very, very tough team to beat.
This guy might be able to play in the NBA right now. Hes a friggn monster. Ive loved his game since the first video I saw of him when we first offered. You could just see that he had IT. Hell be a star at MSU but hell be a star among stars at IU and win a NCAA title to boot. Bloomingtons just a little further away. Stay after him CTC cause once he sees what IU can do this year I think hell want to ba a Hoosier.
Does McGinnis have any eligibility left?
I really like Trevon, but could you imagine this kid running the floor with a passer like JaQuan? Oops and dump- offs galore in the open floor!
and probably “one and done”
Hate to rain on everyone’s wish parade, but a coaching friend of mine says he is a lock to MSU.
