Anyone have any recruit sightings at the game today? I saw Ray Jr. and Coach Senderoff, but that's about it. Those of you in the student sections probably had a better chance of bumping into somebody.

If I'm not mistaken, Van Treese didn't play a single minute in the state championship game when Oden and Conley were seniors at Lawrence North.

Hopefully Van Trese will step up this year cause I have seen him with Oden and without Oden and have not really been impressed. I know he was sick last year so hopefully this will be his coming out season. Tyler will have plenty of company this weekend.....

Word is Van Treese might be visiting IU this weekend. Not sure if its just for this evening or for the whole weekend.

As far as Derek goes, just from watching this interview and from speaking with him a couple of weeks ago, he's a great kid who will fit in well at IU and be an outstanding contributor for four years. When you watch him play, you can tell he's been very well coached. He does all of the little things that may not show up on the stat sheet but contribute to winning.

Outstanding interview....interviewer very polished with an easy, natural style about him; just great info to stumble across.

I'm an IU alum, you just made a decision that you will be delighted with in years to come. I carry the whole IU experience with me each and every day of my adult life. I see the campus in my minds eye as though it were yesterday (BS 1967).
Welcome aboard....One of the truly great public universities in America.

I am going to listen again but I could have sworn I hear him mention Van Trese wanting to come to IU. It also goes to show you that aau kids talk and try to play together...good interview.
