Indiana moves up to No. 12 in latest Associated Press top 25 poll
Indiana moved up in the latest Associated Press top 25 poll released Monday afternoon.
The Hoosiers, ranked No. 13 in the preseason, are now No. 12.
Indiana beat Morehead State and Bethune-Cookman last week to open the season. The Hoosiers will travel to Xavier on Friday to take on the Musketeers in the Gavitt Tipoff Games.
Three of Indiana’s non-conference opponents are also ranked. North Carolina is No. 1, Kansas is No. 6 and Arizona is No. 14.
Illinois is No. 19 and Michigan is No. 20. Big Ten teams receiving votes include Michigan State, Purdue, Ohio State, Iowa, Rutgers and Penn State.
