As Jackson-Davis and Johnson go to work on a left slot ball screen, Myles Dread leaves Thompson on the weak side and heads to bump Jackson-Davis in the paint on his roll. Thompson uses the opportunity to leak out to the right corner. Jaheam Cornwall also helps on Jackson-Davis, leaving Galloway on the perimeter.
And with Dallion Johnson stunting off Bates in the left corner on Johnson’s drive, Penn State has a seriously collapsed defense as Johnson gathers. He has three IU players open on the perimeter and opts for Thompson in the corner, who hits the triple.
Another great look for the Hoosiers keyed by all the attention Penn State was paying to Jackson-Davis.
