Film Session: Minnesota
This setup is pretty similar to the second play of this Film Session. As the ball gets swung from left to right wing and then into Jackson-Davis on the right mid-post, Loewe leaves Johnson on the left wing and begins to guard the painted area, eventually putting more of a true double team on Jackson Davis.
So Jackson-Davis throws the skip pass back out to Johnson on the left wing. As Loewe recovers out to him, he stops short and sticks to the left elbow, that sagging/zone position Minnesota’s guards continued to occupy. So Johnson simply shoots and knocks down another triple with Loewe not guarding his air space and Willis staying home on Phinisee in the left corner:
