As Johnson gets downhill right, Wahl sticks on the right low post, leaving Thompson in the corner to give extra defensive attention to the drive. It distracts Johnson a bit and Chucky Hepburn is able to block his shot attempt.
Good defense from the Badgers here. Thompson was left on the perimeter on more than one occasion by the Badgers to help out on these ball screen sets, as the Minnesota native continues to struggle to connect from deep so far this season.
