Here’s the counter Indiana ran on its first possession of the second half. Jackson-Davis is again fronted with back-side help. As Stewart clears out to the weak side corner, Thompson flashes to the strong side high post. This allows him to skip the ball to Stewart in the corner with one pass, instead of the swinging around the perimeter Indiana tried in the first half that took too long and Nebraska was able to recover out to shooters against.
It’s a long way for Keisei Tominaga to recover and Stewart has plenty of room to rise and hit the 3-pointer.
