Lastly, we’ll take a look at the debut of Durr.

On defense, Durr showed an ability to switch ball screens and defend NIU’s best player, guard Trendon Hankerson. He forced Hankerson into a deep, contested 3-pointer on one possession, while forcing the ball out of his hands on another. Having a big that’s able to switch, move his feet and stay in front of a guard will bode well for the Hoosiers when they begin to play better competition that will heavily feature ball screens. It makes their defense more versatile.
