Here’s a set we saw Indiana run against Maryland. Durham fakes going baseline and taking a flex screen from Leal and instead cuts to take a down screen from Jackson-Davis. Phinisee has the ball up top:

As Durham receives the ball, Davison fights around the screen:

He stops Durham’s drive, so Durham heads right and takes another screen from Jackson-Davis with Micah Potter hedging:

Durham is again cut off from getting an advantage by Davison on the recovery. So Durham turns back left and looks for Phinisee coming from the left wing to the top of the key:

Durham dribbles left and makes the pass:

Indiana has just seven seconds left on the shot clock now as Jackson-Davis and Jordan Geronimo come up in screen position for Phinisee. Leal is in the left corner:

Phinisee takes the Jackson-Davis screen right. With Potter hedging and Wahl getting entangled with Jackson-Davis, Phinisee turns back left and finds Geronimo. Davis leaves Leal, who’s calling for the ball, to get out on Geronimo:

With Potter on Phinisee and Trice on Jackson-Davis, Wahl then tries recovering back to Geronimo. But with Davis also converging on him, it leaves room for Leal to get down into the corner and have space for a 3-point attempt. Instead of making the pass right away, Geronimo ends up dribbling that way:

This gives Davis an opportunity to start moving towards Leal and shorten up the gap he has to make up on him:

Geronimo ends up throwing a bad pass to bring Leal back out of the corner and Davis has him squared up as a result:

So Leal has to make the best of it, moving towards the wing and turning around and firing with two seconds remaining on the shot clock. He bangs it home for three points:

The benefits of having shooters on the floor. Even when things are breaking down, their ability to rise and hit shots can bail you out.
