After a Penn State missed 3-pointer from the left corner, Thompson grabs the rebound:

He finds Phinisee on the outlet:

Phinisee has three defenders in front of him. Galloway calls for him to swing the ball to Al Durham so Durham can find him in the corner:

But Phinisee opts to keep the ball and drives into the teeth of the defense with Galloway still pointing:

Phinisee gets into the paint and rips through on Harrar and Seth Lundy:

And puts it up and over Harrar for a difficult two-point score:

While this maybe wasn’t the right basketball play from Phinisee, this is the type of aggression he needs to show more consistently.
