John Harrar comes up to set a high ball screen for Sessoms with Jackson-Davis ready for the hedge:

But Harrar flips the screen as Sessoms backs up. Jackson-Davis moves right:

But Harrar flips the screen once more and hits Trey Galloway with it. Jackson-Davis is caught flat-footed anticipating the action going the other way. This leaves Sessoms with a big gap to the lane. Phinisee is in help position with a foot in the lane with his man, Brockington, in the corner:

As Sessoms gets downhill, Hunter does a small stunt towards him, but stays home on his man in the corner. Phinisee remains in help position with Brockington sprinting out of the corner behind him:

With Sessoms now into the paint, Phinisee doesn’t rotate over and get his body in front. Instead, he just jumps up in the air in the middle of the paint with his body open to the action:

This allows Sessoms an unimpeded lane to the basket with Jackson-Davis still on the floor behind him as he scores for two:

Crafty work by Harrar to switch the screen and fool Jackson-Davis. But Phinisee’s help defense here also left a lot to be desired.
