Jamari Wheeler gets a staggered screen:

Stevens breaks out of it and Thompson follows him down the lane. Jackson-Davis hedges to stop the ball as John Harrar heads down into the paint:

Harrar sets a down screen for Stevens:

As Thompson fights through the screen, Wheeler makes the pass to Stevens:

But Thompson is able to impede Stevens and he takes no shot at the rim:

Instead he pulls out and Myles Dread comes to meet him at the left wing:

Stevens dumps it off to Dread:

Dread takes the shot. Unlike the two 3-pointers he hit early in the first half, it’s a bit of a hoist not in rhythm:

The shot doesn’t fall and Jackson-Davis grabs the board:

He finds Devonte Green:

Green passes it ahead to Phinisee:

Jackson-Davis comes down the court and sets a ball screen for Phinisee:

As Harrar hedges and Dread follows, Stevens is on Thompson in the paint. So Phinisee throws a pass over the double team to the rolling Jackson-Davis:

The pass is high and goes over Jackson-Davis’ head. This allows Stevens to rotate out to him:

Jackson-Davis squares Stevens up:

And similar to Thompson’s move on Stevens in the second play of this Film Session, Jackson-Davis drops right and then spins left on Stevens:

This allows him to dunk it home and pick up the foul in the process:

While he had to recover the ball, Jackson-Davis rolling off the ball screen gave him the opportunity to get the ball down low and operate one-on-one against Stevens.
