Brockington fakes a handoff to Jones and gets some space on Hunter:
Brockington gets down into the paint, but Thompson and Phinisee help out and Brockington has nowhere to go as Hunter recovers:
Brockington passes the ball out and it rotates around the perimeter to Stevens:
Stevens gets a step on Thompson going baseline as Watkins helps keep Jackson-Davis away:
But Jackson-Davis is freed and times up Stevens’ shot perfectly for a block:
Thompson busts in and tips the ball out:
It lands with Phinisee and he’s on the move:
Phinisee finds Durham on the left side of the court as Penn State’s defense calls it out:
Durham misses his initial attempt at the rim:
Thompson soars in for the rebound and the ball is knocked left:
It comes to Durham:
Durham misses his second attempt:
But here’s Thompson once again jumping over Penn State for the tip-in score:
These type of hustle and effort plays from Thompson were key for the Hoosiers during their two wins last week.
