Film Session: Ohio State

Now in the second half, Smith passes to Hunter on the right wing:

As Green and Davis switch sides in the paint, Hunter looks to pass to Al Durham up top. But D.J. Carton has Durham locked up:

So Hunter hangs onto the ball and decides to enter it to Davis, who was able to get position on Kaleb Wesson:

Just as in the first play of this Film Session, Hunter’s defender goes down to double Davis and Hunter cuts to the paint:

Davis finds Hunter once again and Andre Wesson has several feet to make up:

Muhammad comes over on the help and fouls Hunter, as he narrowly misses converting. But he’d still hit both free throws after the fact:

Instead of Hunter standing on the perimeter, he got on the move in this game and made Ohio State pay for the double team on Davis.
