Davis sets a ball screen for Newkirk:
Newkirk comes to the middle of the court and finds Davis on the roll:
Davis knifes through the defense:
And scores the bucket off the left block:
While Davis’ increased mobility is helping him recover on defense quicker, it’s also putting him into more positions to score on offense. He’s not just a back to the basket player as he showed to be an adept roll man off the perimeter here.
