During a run midway through the second half, Williams went into playmaking made up top. With his defender open to the left, he survey the scene. Collin Hartman is on the right high post ready to set a ball screen for Williams:
Hartman starts to make the move up to set the screen and Williams starts heading that way, too:
But as Williams drives right, he quickly crosses over left and freezes the defender:
This allows him plenty of room to rise up and slam it home:
With Williams’ superior athleticism, it allows him to do things like this on the basketball court. Good Troy, indeed.
