Ferrell comes into the lane, but nothing is doing, so he kicks it back out to Troy Williams:

Branden Dawson, who in the frame above has his back to Williams trying to steal the pass, has turned around and has his body in front of Williams:

And as Williams gets to the right elbow, Dawson is all over him:

Williams tries making a move to get a shot up over him, but Dawson blocks the attempt:

Here was IU’s night in a nutshell. Great defense from the Spartans and bad 3-point shooting from the Hoosiers even when they got a good look.
