With the Illini now down just two after Abrams’ and-1, here’s another ball screen for Abrams on the next possession — again set by Egwu. Yogi Ferrell also tries going over the top with Davis again playing behind:

Davis does a decent job sticking with him, but he jump stops on the right block:

Davis doesn’t stay with him, and he’s able to score at the rim against no resistance:

“They were really hurting us with [the] high ball screen,” Tom Crean said after the game. “So that was one reason that we had to go to more of the zone. ”
