IV. Here there’s another screen slip on Ferrell, but Vonleh pursues Puriefoy:
He hedges out strong near halfcourt, something we saw Zeller do on smaller perimeter players during his tenure in Bloomington as well:
Vonleh looks to recover back to his man, but Fischer has picked him up, which leaves a shooter open in the corner. Ferrell appears to have Puriefoy re-marked:
But he takes just a little bit of a step back from the arc, and Puriefoy decides to pop and hit:
Indiana had Puriefoy defended pretty well here, but it goes to show that he’s a pretty talented scorer who doesn’t need much space to get his shot off.
