Our 2012 class is fantastic. Dont need Mitch- what did josh mcroberts do for Duke? College hoops is more bout chemistry and coaching than 5 stars.. Look @ Butler

The more I think about it, Harris will probably pick a school where he can be THE star. Our 2012 class is so strong he won’t get as much playing time as he might elsewhere.

Then again, to go deep in the NCAA tournament, you need good teammates…

If he feels like he will be a 1-and-done or a 2-and-done player, he may not pick IU. If he’s in it for the long haul, we have a chance.

Either way, the future is bright for IU!

  • Who wrote that NBC Big ten preview, some NBC correspondants 3rd grade son?  Half the stuff it says makes no sense, and the other half is nonsense.  Brandon Paul 2nd team all big ten, IND will have depth issues since capo transferred???  Lol always enjoy people who are told to write a cllumn and have no clue what they are talking about!

Yeah, Jerry McNamara, David Rivers, Daren Queenan (who?!) but no Calbert.

No kidding, and Gerry McNamara was?  What the hell?  I thought the whole list was a little skeptical.

As an obviously biased IU alum, I thought a couple of names were left off that could’ve been included, but the Cheaney omission is glaring.  Granted, he did have a fairly long NBA career, but Klosterman basically threw that criterion out the window when he made Pistol Pete and Kareem the list’s 2 and 1, respectively.

Thought the same thing. Seems like he used press clippings, took a look at the rosters for names and heights, and talked to some guy who had talked to some guy who had read some article about B1G teams. He really showed he knew very little about IU’s team.

If you don’t read Klosterman, you don’t know that he is fairly tongue-in-cheek about a lot of things. Go back and read the parameters of how guys were selected for the list and you’ll see how some guys end up on the list and how obviously great players like Cal were not.
