Both of these kids seem well grounded and understand what’s ahead of them challenge and improvement wise. Hard to tell from an All-Star game..Max won the 3 pt deal..and nobody would throw him the ball the second half. Typical. Does need to work on his rebounding position..didn’t really compete there last night it seemed to me. Johnson work’s on defense..but Snider was a nightmare to guard. The guys can shoot..but the speed of the college game will force adjustments that it does on every freshman..including JBjr./

Made me feel pretty good when MH mentioned that Troy was there at the game supporting him and RJ. If Troy is buying in to the things he needs to in the off season like he has when it comes to him talking to prospective recruits and guys that are getting ready to be in Btown then we should see him a very noticeable jump in his overall game. Troy with a much upgraded outside shot and better on D……scary but scary in a good way !

One thing about Max, not afraid to talk the talk, “oh yeah I’m going to win it” and then go do it! Alright! The kind of thing Larry Bird used to do.

One thing I gotta say about Crean, he gets good kids. I listen to them speak and they seem like my kinda guys. If these 3 kids see the floor together as juniors I think you might have something special.

I love to see Troy showing leadership here . Players showing leadership on the court get a lot of attention ,but when arguably your highest ceiling on the roster is out supporting future teammates rather than taking part in the many things teenagers often do on a Friday night it is impressive. To me it is anyway.

Kind of hard to be sure what their defense and rebounding is like, it was an all star game where they only care about one thing….dunking and putting on a show

I particularly like the fact that both RJ and MH look whomever asks the question right in the eyes and provide candid yet insightful answers without stammering or mumbling. Neither seemed bothered by explaining what areas need to be worked on or what Je’Ney Jackson has in store for them. Milla, I think we’re going to see something special from these young men this year…maybe not immediately, but by the 2d half of the BIG schedule!
