Quotes after the jump.

Victor Oladipo

Did they do anything defensively to make it tougher for you to score around the basket?

“Not really. We just didn’t hit shots. They hit a lot of crazy shots. We didn’t defend well. That’s all it boils down to. It’s very simple.”

Talk about how the crowd was tonight?

“They did a good job. A lot of them came out to support us tonight. I hope they continue to keep coming out in games to come during the year.”

Where did you see break downs on defense?

“Just overall. We didn’t really defend the dribble well. They were getting into the lane, kicking it and making tough shots. We have just got to go watch the film and see what we need to work on. ”

What makes it so tough to turn Wisconsin over?

“That’s just how they play. We just need to do a better job of playing defense. We’re going to get back to the drawing board.”

Cody Zeller

How hard is it to create pace against Wisconsin?

“That’s their style of play. We just didn’t defend the dribble well enough. Didn’t make enough shots. That’s all it boils down to.”

What made it hard to score in the second half?

“They were clogging up the middle more. Shots just stopped falling.”

What did they do to take away the passing options?

“That’s how they play. We will look at the film to see what they were doing.”

What was the key for your success on offense in the first half?

“I just wanted to be aggressive. Take what the defense gives me. I tried to attack and get to the line”
