Open Thread: IU basketball (USA) vs. Peru in the 2026 FISU America Games

IU basketball, representing the United States, begins play tonight in the FISU America Games in Lima, Peru.

The Hoosiers won their lone tuneup for Peru against Collège Jean-de-Brébeuf last Wednesday at Simon Skjodt Assembly Hall.

Here are the details of tonight’s game against Peru:

Who: Indiana (United States) vs. Peru
Where: Sede Legado Villa El Salvador, Lima, Peru
When: Tuesday, July 21, 2026, 6 p.m. ET (approximate start time)

IU is in a three-team pool with Peru and the Virgin Islands. The Hoosiers are scheduled to play again on Thursday at 6 p.m. ET against the Virgin Islands. Elimination play will begin this weekend.
