Five-star guard class of 2025 Braylon Mullins trims list to three schools
Five-star class of 2025 Greenfield-Central guard Braylon Mullins is down to three schools.
Mullins, the No. 23 prospect nationally according to the 247Sports Composite, is down to Indiana, UConn and North Carolina.
He is expected to announce his choice in October via the On3 YouTube channel.
The 6-foot-5 guard has visited all three schools in recent months. He visited UConn in early August, North Carolina earlier this month and Indiana last weekend.
Considered one of the best shooters in the country, Mullins rose up the national recruiting rankings in the spring and summer based on his strong play with Indiana Elite.
As he prepares for his senior season at Greenfield-Central, Mullins is considered the frontrunner for Indiana’s 2025 Mr. Basketball award.
According to MaxPreps, Mullins averaged 25 points, 6.3 rebounds, 3.2 assists, and 3.2 steals per game as a junior at Greenfield-Central and shot better than 40 percent on 3-pointers.
In July, Mullins announced a list of 10 schools that included Duke, Kentucky, Purdue, Kansas, Tennessee, Alabama, and Michigan. Each of those seven schools has eliminated from consideration.
His close friend and AAU teammate, Trent Sisley, committed to Indiana Monday afternoon.
The Hoosiers have recruited Mullins as long as any high-major school. Indiana offered him a scholarship in the fall of 2023 and has hosted him on numerous unofficial visits.
Indiana is also in the mix for five-star Jalen Haralson, who is scheduled to announce his college choice Wednesday night. Haralson is considering Indiana, Notre Dame and Michigan State.
