Film Session: Chronicling Indiana’s fast-break points in the second half against Maryland

Indiana exploded on offense in the second half against Maryland, dropping 50 points on 1.4 points per possession. While the Hoosiers made plenty of baskets via their half-court offense, they also scored 14 points on the fast break with Xavier Johnson keying a number of runouts for scores. Those points accounted for 28 percent of Indiana’s second-half scoring.

Today’s Film Session runs through all the fast-break plays in succession without any freezing of the action. Sometimes the game can be as simple as securing the ball, pushing the pace and getting ahead of the defense for easy looks at the basket.
