The transfer portal is closed for underclassmen and ESPN’s Joe Lunardi has a fresh update for his 2023-24 NCAA tournament bracket.

After listing the Hoosiers as his “first team out” in his previous update, Lunardi has Indiana among nine Big Ten teams in his projected field for the 2024 NCAA tournament field after the commitment of Mackenzie Mgbako.

The Hoosiers also moved up to No. 24 in Bart Torvik’s rankings for next season.

Indiana is a No. 10 seed in the West Region opposite No. 7 seed Villanova in Lunardi’s latest bracket.

The highest-seeded Big Ten team is Michigan State. The Spartans are projected as a No. 1 seed.

The SEC and Big 12 have seven teams projected to make the 2024 NCAA tournament field by Lunardi, the Big East has six and the ACC and Pac-12 have five.

The full projections from Lunardi are available here.
