Film Session: Maryland
After not allowing Maryland to get anything going for much of the shot clock, Bates and Geronimo double Xavier Green on the right side as Scott pops out of the ball screen he set for Green.
From there, Indiana does a great job of rotating to Maryland’s open men on the perimeter, starting with Miller Kopp picking up Scott on the pop. The ball eventually makes its way to Ian Martinez in the left corner. He tries driving on the rotated Thompson, but as Leal comes over on the help, the shot clock expires.
Really good defense from the Hoosiers here.
