Film Session: Wisconsin
As Miller Kopp looks to enter the ball to Jackson-Davis on the right low block, he’s again being fronted by Crowl. So Indiana goes to its next option once more, a ball screen between Jackson-Davis and Johnson near the right slot. Crowl again drops and Davison is in help position.
So Johnson swings to Galloway on the left wing once more. But as Galloway passes back to Johnson, Jackson-Davis is able to shake off Crowl’s front in the post and Johnson makes the pass into him on the right low block.
Hepburn digs off Johnson down to Jackson-Davis and Jackson-Davis kicks it out to Johnson as a result. Davison rotates off Galloway to closeout on a potential 3-point attempt, so Johnson swings the ball to an open Galloway on the left wing. Galloway takes the 3-point attempt in rhythm as Johnny Davis has too far to rotate out to affect the shot.
A make here would have given Indiana the lead with just over 30 seconds to play. But Galloway, now shooting just 26.1 percent (6-of-23) from deep on the season, didn’t connect.
