Film Session: Northwestern
Here’s another play with Galloway on the strong-side wing as Jackson-Davis gets the ball in the post. This time around, he clears out to the weak side corner.
With Roper II helping in the paint, Antony Leal has space on the weak-side wing. As Jackson-Davis throws the skip pass out to Leal, Roper II sprints out to recover. But because Galloway is still clearing, his man, Ty Berry, is in front of Roper II and he closes out as well.
With two Wildcats heading towards the ball, Leal makes the extra pass to Galloway in the corner and he connects on the 3-pointer.
Galloway’s decision to keep it moving ended up with him getting a good look from deep.
