With both Xavier Johnson and Jackson-Davis out later in the second half, Indiana’s offense sputtered with Rob Phinisee at the helm. Here with the shot clock winding down, Stewart tries to make something happen and drives off the left wing. As he turns back after stopping near the right elbow, he’s whistled for a travel violation.
While Stewart has proven to be a deadly shooter, it’s been a mixed bag when he’s put the ball on the deck. Notice, too, he had Galloway open for a 3-pointer because Galloway’s man, Alonzo Verge Jr., dug down at Stewart on the drive.
