Here’s the last play of the second overtime, a play Indiana was also supposed to run at the end of the first overtime, according to Mike Woodson, but failed to execute on. Instead of Kopp looking for the ball on the weak side, Indiana overloading the zone on one side or getting it to the middle, the Hoosiers run Kopp off staggered screens from the left corner to the top of the key.
It’s a different look than the type of stuff they’d run all game and did get Kopp a decent, albeit deep, look. He was fouled and hit all three free throws.
