Class of 2022 Dorman (S.C.) forward narrowed his list of schools to four on Wednesday and Indiana made the cut for the four-star forward.

Joe Tipton reported Wednesday evening that Clowney is down to a final four of Alabama, Florida, Indiana and Virginia Tech.

According to Tipton, the 6-foot-9 forward will take official visits on the following dates:

– Indiana – August 27
– Florida – September 3
– Virginia Tech – September 10
– Alabama – September 24

Clowney is rated the No. 73 prospect nationally by the 247Composite.

In an interview with Inside the Hall in April, Dorman coach Thomas Ryan spoke about Clowney’s developing game.

“On the defensive end, he rebounds in his area and is a pretty good shot-blocker, but we still have to put some weight on him and get in the weight room and get bigger and stronger,” Ryan explained. “On the offensive end, he played with his back to the basket all year but was still an all-conference player. Noah was a big part in us making the state championship for the fifth year in a row.

“I think the big thing offensively for Noah is being comfortable with footwork and paying attention to details, to face up and see the rim and what’s going on around him. I think it’s just Noah getting more comfortable with the other nine guys on the floor. Not predetermining the game, but letting it come to him.”

As a junior at Dorman, Clowney averaged 10.2 points, 8.1 rebounds and 2.5 blocks per game.

Indiana currently has two commitments in the class of 2022 in Fayetteville (Ga.) forward Kaleb Banks and Lawrence Central guard CJ Gunn. The Hoosiers are also among the final two schools for Montverde Academy (Fla.) guard Jalen Hood-Schifino, who will announce his decision on August 24.
