South Florida transfer Michael Durr committed to Indiana on Monday, placing the Hoosiers back at 13 scholarship players for the 2021-22 season.

Durr, who originally planned to transfer to Virginia Tech, averaged 8.8 points and 7.9 rebounds last season for the Bulls. Durr shot 41 percent last season from the field and 79 percent from the free throw line.

The 7-foot, 250-pound center is originally from Atlanta. Durr will be a senior next season, but due to last season being a “free” year as a result of the COVID-19 pandemic, has two years of eligibility available to use.

Over 87 career games at South Florida, Durr made 85 starts and averaged 6.7 points and 6.5 rebounds per game. He’s a career 47.2 percent shooter from the field and a career 62.9 percent free throw shooter. He’s averaged 23.4 minutes per game and has 87 career blocks.

Inside the Hall will continue to monitor this developing story.
