Film Session: Rutgers
Armaan Franklin shoots a tough shot as the shot clock is winding down. It misses:
Johnson grabs the rebound and it’s up the court to Young:
Young takes it all the way down the court and Franklin and Phinisee have the ball marked. But Durham decides to slide that way regardless:
And as Franklin and Phinisee temporarily knock the ball loose, Durham keeps moving into the paint:
Young is able to recover and finds Baker wide open on the right wing, as Durham continues to stay in the paint:
It’s Phinisee who has to come on the closeout and he does it with little effort, barely getting a hand up and coming off the floor as Baker connects on another one:
It just wasn’t necessary for Durham to be giving the ball that attention and it left Baker wide open in the process.
