Trey Galloway passes to Lander up top as Thompson comes to set the ball screen:
Thompson sets the screen and Garza hedges:
As Perkins and Garza focus on Lander — and no one else on Iowa rotates over to Thompson — the freshman passes between the two to the rolling Thompson:
As Iowa’s defense collapses to Thompson, we again see an open shooter in the corner, this time it’s Galloway:
But Thompson keeps coming and draws the defense all the way to him with Nunge fouling him from behind:
Thompson made both free throws at the line to pull Indiana within four points. Good work by Lander here to make the quick pass to Thompson.
